Project Profile: Green Quartzite Kitchen Countertops in Mountain, GA

In this featured project of the week, our team crafted and installed stunning Green Quartzite countertops for a home in Mountain, GA. The stone was hand-selected for its rich color and dramatic veining, offering a perfect match for the surrounding sage green cabinetry. We customized the slabs with a polished finish and installed a double bowl undermount stainless steel sink for a sleek, modern look. A drop-in cooktop was also fitted seamlessly into the stone surface, contributing to the kitchen’s practical yet elegant design.

Green Quartzite is a natural stone known for its incredible durability and captivating appearance. This particular variety features a deep, forest-green background with dynamic veins of black, white, and gold. Each slab offers a unique visual journey—like a natural piece of art carved by the earth over millions of years. Its polished finish enhances the natural translucence and brings out the complex color patterns, giving the kitchen a vibrant yet refined aesthetic.

Not only is Green Quartzite visually striking, but it also provides excellent resistance to heat, scratches, and stains when properly sealed. For this project, we treated the surfaces with a premium stone sealer to protect against daily wear and tear, preserving their beauty for years to come.

Green Quartzite pairs beautifully with earth-toned cabinetry and natural wood flooring, as seen in this Mountain, GA installation. The finished look is both bold and harmonious—an ideal choice for homeowners who want something distinctive yet timeless.
